Privacy policy
Last updated: 9 August 2026
This policy explains what information Skinmatics collects through this website, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers this website only. Information you give us in person at a clinic, or as part of your medical treatment, is handled under our clinical records policy.
Skinmatics operates five dermatology clinics across Bengaluru and Chennai. For the purposes of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Data Fiduciary is Skinmatics, with its principal place of business at 1st Floor, Above Jockey Showroom, Byreshwara Layout, Hennur Bande, HRBR Layout, Bengaluru 560043, Karnataka, India.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry. The booking form asks for four things, and we record two more automatically:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- The treatment you are interested in
- The clinic you would prefer
- Which page you were on when you enquired
- The date and time
We do not ask for your email address, your address, or any medical history through this website. Please do not send medical details through the enquiry form — we will discuss those with you directly.
When you browse. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit, how they arrived, and which treatments they look at. This tells us what to improve. It records things like your approximate location, your device and browser, and the pages you view. Our web host also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use them for analytics, as described above, and to remember that you have seen our cookie notice so it does not appear on every page.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will continue to work normally, including the booking form.
Who else sees your information
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We do use these services to run the site, and your information passes through them:
- Google (Sheets and Apps Script) — enquiries are recorded in a spreadsheet our team works from.
- Web3Forms — a copy of each enquiry is sent here, so that none are lost if one system fails.
- Hostinger — hosts this website and stores enquiries on the server so they cannot be lost in transit.
- Google Analytics — website usage, as described above.
- Google Maps — each clinic page shows a map. Google may set cookies and record your IP address when that map loads.
- YouTube — our homepage shows patient videos. Only the thumbnail images load at first; nothing plays and no video cookies are set unless you click one.
- WhatsApp — if you choose to message us, that conversation is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
Some of these providers store data outside India.
Why we collect it
Enquiry details are used for one thing: to call you back and arrange your consultation. We may contact you about that specific enquiry. We will not add you to a marketing list without asking you first.
Analytics is used to improve the website — to see which information people are looking for and which pages are not working well.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for 24 months from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. If you become a patient, your clinical records are kept separately and for longer, as medical record-keeping requires.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date
- Delete your enquiry details
- Withdraw any consent you have given
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you cannot
Ask us using the contact details below and we will respond. There is no charge.
Children
This website is not intended for children under 18 to use on their own. Where a patient is under 18, we take enquiries from a parent or guardian.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and enquiry details are passed to our systems from our own server rather than from your browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.
Contact us
For anything about this policy or your information, or to make a request about your data, contact the Skinmatics team:

Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
